Linked Learning Portfolio Defense
What is a Portfolio Defense?
As part of graduation requirements, students in LAUSD Linked Learning pathways spend four years assembling a portfolio of their work. As a senior, before culmination, students select evidence from the portfolio and orally defend it by presenting it in front of a live panel.
Students who successfully complete their defense will demonstrate they have met the standards of the LAUSD Graduate Profile, with states they will be Self-Advocates, Open-Minded, Adaptable and Effective Communicators.
